At risk of offending everyone of religious disposition we must relate one person's first encounter with and Anglican "Eucharist". Coming from a "New Church" setting and being fairly unaware of how others might do things, he had ventured into an Anglican church recently. A couple of Sundays later he took his first communion there.
Approaching the vicar, plate in hand, he noticed that all he had left was a few "crumbs" and so he went in search of someone with real bread to get the usual chunk! It was then that he realised his mistake. Someone later commented "I suppose you were expecting the body of Christ and were disappointed to be offered his toenail clippings"
